CEBUPLUS Association, Incorporated is the only know and established support group for PLHIVs (People Living with HIV) which is already SEC Registered and is a member of the Local Aids Council in Cebu (LAC). It has already done a lot of things for PLHIVs, not only in Metro Cebu, but also in Central and Eastern Visayas, particularly Bohol, Samar and Leyte.
The Association is composed of PLHIVs and Volunteer members, who are working hand-in -hand in providing not only PsychoSocial support to PLHIVs, but also caters to their Treatment, Care and Support. Not only that, CPAI is also planning to make a move on the Prevention side, since the number of HIV cases here in the city is significantly increasing.
CPAI is closely in partnership with The Daughters of Charity, Vincentian Order, or most popularly known as The Asilo de la Milagrosa, in Gorordo Avenue, Cebu City where CPAI is having its office in and also providing Temporary Shelter to those PLHIVs who are from outside Cebu seeking for Treatment. CPAI is also part of the HIV-AIDS Core Team, which Treatment Hub is Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center who is there to provide Treatment, particularly on ART (AntiRetroviral Treatment). Cebu city Health Office is also in close partnership of CPAI, wherein the Association do refer some persons who wanna get tested to know their HIV Status and other STIs particularly Syphilis and Hepatitis B.
